Travel to Valère
Imagine an extraordinary experience during which you can visit the many facets of the Valère site: history, geology, flora, etc. Accompanied by a guide, this discovery walk will surprise and delight you.
During this guided walk, which begins on Place Maurice Zermatten, you will discover the fortified church, the “poudrière”, the Venetz stone, the mill, the “jubé” and the oldest playable organ in the world. At the end of the tour, a meal will be served to you in the fortified town, at the Café de Valère, run by the Office de l'Asile. Run by the Asylum Office, the Café de Valère is a structure for training and integrating asylum seekers in the catering trades.
Terms: from 2 up to 15 people, free cancellation up to 72 hours
When: all year around, upon reservation (reservation at least 72 hours in advance), Tuesday to Saturday
Start: 10:00 am
Duration: 3 hours (2 hours of visit / 1 hour for the meal)
Price: CHF 69.- per person (includes 1 guide and 3 course menu with 1 drink)
